Once upon a time, there was a little girl who loved to tell stories. From the time she was a toddler, this little girl told stories all the time, about everything she could. Some people might say this was a nicer way of calling her a liar, and maybe sometimes she was, it was really just that this little girl had a very big, and very vivid, imagination. And everybody who meant anything knew that she would one day tell her stories to the world.
And that little girl grew up to be me, Kelsey Kingsley.

So, what can I really tell you about me? I live in the great state of New York with my family, fiance, and a cat named Ethel. I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady and I’m proud of it. When I’m not writing my fingers down to nail-bitten stubs, I enjoy reading, listening to music, going to concerts, watching TV and movies, getting tattoos, and spending all of my money at Target and Sephora.
In addition to just being an all-around incredible human being (and apparently modest as well), I was born with a rare condition called Achromatopsia. Which, in a nutshell, means that I am legally blind with very poor visual acuity, complete colorblindness, and extreme light sensitivity. While this doesn’t effect my writing in any way whatsoever (other than having to lean about an inch away from a very dim computer screen), it does effect other areas of my life, both negatively and positively. However, all in all, I’d like to think this only adds to my awesomeness, in that you are hard pressed to find anybody else like me. Literally.
